My next drawing is going to be of Steve Stricker....he is a 'home town' hero, and it will be for a silent auction to raise money for a good cause.

I just havent had the time or motivation to do any drawings lately....more so lacking in the time area. And school work takes up the rest of my motivation

Wow. Great job!! I have drawn this picture probably three times over, and was wondering about the charcoal... is it horribly difficult to work with? Is there a way I could start? How? I am not trying to ever do what you just did here, but would love to give a new medium a go!

it was around 4-4.5 hours....and all my most recent vids are quicker, do to better editing on my part. The vertigo remix is by mastermix i think; they do a bunch of remixes

and i will look into doing Robert Smith, however its hard to get some free time to draw while at college

vine charcoal...they look like sticks of charcoal...and compressed charcoal for the really dark areas...

i have never really used the charcoal pencils b4.....do not really like them

I think I've fallen in love...! I've seen all your videos and Bono is by far my favorite one! I'm so envious of aspiring artists and musicians... and I would not mind sitting there for 4-5 hours watching you create this, or however long it takes.

well charcoal portraits like the ones on youtube, just over a year, however i have been drawing since i can remember, and i have been making 'decent quality' work since maybe my high school years (so about 4-5 years)

haha thanks....it takes some getting used to, and for me i try to start at the top left and work my way down....you should work the other way being a lefty :-D
