Donald was correct...a VERY underrated album. With a small about of worry and not much care we calmly ran out of chips and gave up on the game. The game being the USA, the chips being the companies that are no more, the left and right bet on red and black, but the game was rigged, the house always wins. 00 came up. It was sweet up at the top

This song to me is about a shattered dream... a Biz, a relationship... anything that you tried to give all but in the end was not good enough... at 53.. real tears.. this song reminds me of anyplace then where I am now. This is The Dan at their best (almost). Reminds me more of solo Fagen.
