  • @bakaboy2000 The quick change from cold to hot causes stress fractures. She's right. You can take a glass out of the dishwasher and it can crack just from being exposed to cooler air.

  • @buttercupbaby16 Two questions: Do you also smelt lead in your dishwasher? And do you use liquid CO2 to cool your house? Something is totes wrong with your dishwasher if it makes your mugs that hot.

    Also, crock pots are well insulated and built to withstand temps. I've thrown frozen stuff into hot crocks hundreds of times without ill effect.

  • the ribs I can understand, but the sauce is not traditional. my grandma would make brasied ribs but without stew tomatoes, onions and onion soup mix. One of the spices that she would in the ribs is 8 pointed flower (forgot the name),

  • This recipe looks wonderful; but, other than the inclusion of the five spice powder, there is nothing Chinese about it. Even the five spice powder doesn't sound authentic because Sichuan peppercorns is not traditionally part of the five spice combination.

  • I'd be willing to bet she makes a drinking game out of taking a shot every time she says 'super' when she watches her own show. Might explain why she says it so much.

  • seschuan pepper corns are addictive. They cause some people to eat more than is prudent. It's a food its a drug kind of thing.  Sichuan? well you know the place.
