  • He had the perfect career.

  • @arhvash He hasnt finish his carrer...

  • This "shi, shi, shhhi" annoys him!

  • 30 seconds training and an interview

  • very skilled in muay thai, sticks to the traditional style,, i like it

  • the k1 judges gave him too many presents specialy fighting buakaw ,so still a great fighter but too many presents so in my eyes not a real champion

  • @langhard1 not really. when he loss to buakaw, he clearly loss. when he beat buakaw, the knockdown got him the victory. he even went to war with Kyshenko for his second title. Masato is a real champion. Sucks that he retired so early.

  • so much more explosive than the other japanese max fighters

  • I LOVE Buakaw, he's an inspiration to me and an amazing kickboxer but I think it does Masato a disservice to constantly bring up the 2004 judging scandal. He's a great champion with an amazing heart, will and skill. He's one of the few that's kicked against Buakaw rather than boxing him and though I think he's had a few decisions his way... he brought it. He fought with Courage and Honour. Great fighter.

  • Lloyd Banks music in the background. :DD

  • If you want to be better than others....you got to do better than them and differeantly.

MAsato brought boxing to the game and trains harder than the rest.

but im not really concerned about ring fighters.

real fights happen behind closed doors....and noone talks about it

  • A Monster

  • Only Masato to beat Buakaw, Kyeshenko, and Souwer in one Max event

  • @Chinbo666 he didn´t

he beat buakaw and kyshenko in 2007 but lost in the final to souwer by low kicks ( unbelievable he came so far his legs must have been so fucke up by that fight)

but i see your point that was a hell of a tournament by masato

  • @buakawfan1834 Your right, error on my part. Still a hell of a night that was

  • @buakawfan1834 Yeah, Masato said he was already ready to give up after the fight against Buakaw because his leg hurt like hell along with bruises on the shin. But his coach told him to keep going and he did. Then he got kicked by Kyshenko and Masato already had enough damage on his legs by the time he faced Souwer.

  • best fighter in Jap...nw there's no jap K1 fighter to watch since Masato retired.

  • @czh25

I agree with you. It kinda sucks

  • whats the song when he starts on the pads?

  • Best punching in k1.

  • OVERRATED

  • @2ossy What is?

  • masato giin togloltuud uzhed goy baidag shuu

  • masato i dont like your hair your sideburns are too long, you back is short but your tail is so long

  • MASATO YOUR KICKS FUCKIN SUCK, WTF IS THAT, YOU PUNCHES ARE SLOPPY , YOU FAT JIGGLES WHEN YOU PUNCH AND JUMP UP AND DOWN, OVERALL YOU SUCK, ALL YOU GOT WAS YOUR YOUTHFUL LIVELINESS AND NOW YOU LOSING IT step out masato step out

  • @kokorokusniper ''

are you a homosex? Masato has the best striking I've ever seen. Powerful as fuck, accurate as fuck, his cardio is godlike. You are just looking for attention.

  • I love how lame YouTube's captions option is.

  • i go to a kickboxing gym in tokyo and got inside source from my coach....he told me Masato quit because the owner of K1 wanted to expand the business (dont know exactly how) and wanted to use Masato as leverage, but he wasn't feelin it

  • At 2003, he already said he was quitting once he wins twice in K-1. He says in all his interview that he wanted to quit fighting at his best condition as a fighter so that might be the main reason. I was actually at the gym the day before he announced it. He was already speaking about it with his coaches 2 days before the retirement announcement at the gym.

  • Very nice huge thx for the translations!

  • Sorry. only about 5 minutes of questions. I dont know if its my PC but I cannot hear the reporters AT ALL. Its horrible. The translations are so-so, I am not Japanese but I live in Japan, speak it everyday, I fight professionally and I know Masato personally from his days training at my gym, Ihara Gym.

Hope this little bit helps some of you.

I agree, GET THE SUBTITLES UP SOMEONE!!!!!

  • A- and kickboxing I have done about 80 rounds.

Q-Is Andys low kick going to be a problem for you>?

A-No. Im not worried. I have compensated for that in training. Might be different in a tourney. I dont know.

Q-Is it better to have power or speed in the techniques?

    A-Power.

Q- What technique of yours has more power?

A- All of them. My punch is strong, so are my kicks. I hit hard.

Q- When do you think you will finish the fight?

A- if I see a chance early, I will finish early.

  • Q-its your last fight, doesnt it seem early? A-It doesn't feel like that. It feels like a normal fight for me. Q- Are you nervous. A-Nope. I feel like I always do. Q- Did you change your practice for this fight? A- Now. I am training how I always do. Not thinking about this being my last fight. Q- Hows your body now? A- Its perfect. no problem. Q- How many rounds are you training? A- well I am sparring in 3 round intervals. Q-So how many rounds have you sparred to prepare? A- including boxing
  • fight man fight :D regards from POLAND!

  • Typ ni umie kopac xd

  • bo to żółty konus jest :D

  • hjkhjkhj

  • im no masato hater but i rely would like to see his kicks improved, he lacks the full hip rotation, he like takes a shortcut in them to make em fast. im sure he can kick just like buakaw if he work the kicks much, but i know is more a punch guy who likes working kicks in his combos. To bad hes retiring!

  • For those who says he retiring because he cant win anymore. Masato announce years ago his retirement at his 30th age.

  • the reason Masato is retiring is because he can't fight people like Kyshenko anymore. Look at the Masato vs Kyshenko fight. That is the most brutal damage Masato has ever taken in his career. I think Kyshenko took everything Masato had left in his body. Masato threw everything he had at him and got everything back 10 fold.

    It happens though.

  • @GreatestCreation909 he is stronger now than last year. the reason is because he is at his peak. that is the best time to retire. masato can beat anyone now. more fighters should do this and avoid future humiliation.

  • Thats what he says but that isn't true. He knows that the younger guys are just too much to handle anymore. He found that out when he faught Kyshenko(youngest guy in 08 tourny) It's what happens when you get old. Some guys can still fight, some guys can't. It happens.

  • I dont fully agree with you. I know Kyshenko is one of the best fighters at K1 but i think that Masato could win him by KO when they fight fresh. Masato was already knocked down that night and he was fighting a tournament. Tournaments are not the same as 1 night fight because at tournaments the emotions are too high and they dont fight with a clear mind.

The matches masato lost were all in tournaments. When masato fights 1 match he's almost unbeatable.

  • I agree. When he fights 1 match, it is almost impossible to beat him. But K-1 MAX, is just a tournament though.

I think Masato should just take a break instead of retire completely. He deserves a break but retirement? Man, I dont want to see him go.

  • No he is retired because he fufulled his goal...Not because someone put him out of the game...

  • no killakali is right...

  • @FULLTIMEKILLER he was a great fighter but the real reason that he stopped is because of his spine and disk problems...it happens to fighters after a while fo fighting.

  • @lasog341 Where did you get that? I thought he wanted to quit while he was at the top ,that's what he said anyway.I never heard of a back injury.

P.S. all haters should FUCK OFF AND DIE!!! and STOP COMMENTING on the man's videos, jelaous cunts!

  • @boleplissken I respect him he is a legend i wish i was like him i don' hate.

  • @lasog341 I didn't mean you dude. The question part was for you, about the back injury. The other part was for kokorokusniper and all the other fools who claim they hate Masato and yet they watch and comment on his videos.

  • @FULLTIMEKILLER no but the japs thinked well to change the rules so that the japs fighters that are not good kickers and clinch users could have easy fights :P .. and when they still got powned there comes in the scene the stupid judges :D. Actually masato should have been only 1 time wold champion , buakaw 3 times .. and so on. Masato is a good fighter but he is super overrated !

  • @solmyr2 Masato won the K-1 World MAX 2 times, same as Buakaw, Souwer and (now) Petrosyan.

  • @solmyr2 Well said

  • @FULLTIMEKILLER you suck

  • @FULLTIMEKILLER What was his goal?

  • @GreatestCreation909 after watching his retirement fight he was in perfect condition and fought amazing. he beat souwer legit and would beat kyshenko hands down. kyshenko isnt on same level as masato and souwer.

  • And they wonder why K-1 hasn't caught on in the US... If you are reading this k-1 people ENGLISH SUBS PLEASE!

  • uhmbin mega aufgewirbelt und ungezogen heute wer mag mit mir schreibn und so

  • oł yeee

  • I have subs on mine but they are really shitty. I think it was translated by firefox and it made me sad. But I do with they'd have proper subs or at least a translator perhaps why not

  • Great. Over 10 minutes of jabbering, without any subs, and about 2 and a half minutes of training.

  • It is not only the talking session but also has no subs. Great !

  • hes the reason i started fightin in the ring!! pure inspiration!!

  • Hes a legend <3 lov3 him

  • he's not really retiring, they'll pull him back in for at least one or two more fights..

i hope so at least ;-)

  • I think so too

  • oh, absolutely, there's so much the fans want to see him do!! and the K1 producers know he's a gold mine!!

imagine announcing a rubber match between him and buakaw to break the tie, or giving kyshenko a rematch after that controversial win or best of all who wouldn't love watching masato kick the crap out of petrosyan!!

and besides he's still very young and he says he's stronger than ever, he'll get bored sitting around doing nothing!

    a fighter fights!!!

  • @Stigmableedingblack

this "lil jap" would knock the fuck out of you

you fucking pathetic hater ur only tuf behind ur lil keyboard u wankersaurus

  • Why the fuck did you click & leave a commnent, then? Just ignore it, you fuckturd. Die.

  • The ladies are crazy about this guy.

it feels like a backstreet boys concert everytime this guy fights

all the ladies screaming and crying hahaha

  • they could show different parts of his training.. always shadow and 1-2+midkicks pads -.-, there are so much things arround his preparation.

  • Get a life.

  • more training please! :) this was more like a talking session.
