It's funny how everyone at the beginning of the season was like "this is a horrible loss for Michigan". Looking back now, it wasn't. Utah had an awesome team. This season showed us two things about Utah:

1. They need to get into a BCS conference. Maybe the Pac 10 can add an 11th team (Big 10 did and is still called by the same name).

2. If they go undefeated next year, they deserve consideration to play in the national championship game. A tough non-conference game would help as well.

The first TD for michigan was given to them on a BULL pass interference call on an INT. Also the UTES started trying to run the clock way to early and ended up basically not moving the ball at all the second half. Technically, anytime someone is not favored to win, but they do anyway, it's an upset. For example, the 1997 game where Michigan murdered Penn State 34-8 was considered an upset, since Michigan was ranked #4 and Penn State #2 at the time.
