  • Dude. That was such an awesome job, congrats. Btw do you know if this mod can work on htc evo 4?

  • I think I'm more amazed the he was playing it through the camera haha

  • Awesome dude....

  • does the controller work in games like FastFive, Asphalt 6 etc?

  • sick

  • ........

  • what mario game is that? :/

  • @camycam178

    Really???

  • @camycam178

    Super Mario World SNES

  • @pingpongman6543 Super Mario World GBA

  • @camycam178 Are you serious?

  • @camycam178 Super Mario World

  • Good Effort!

That's great, until Someone on a Train, decides to grab Your Streak. :P.

As for Manufacturers making Drivers... That's kind of the Point of Android... You write Your own!

    Like with Linux... Remember?

  • Dude where did you get this rom for mario i cant seem to find it?

  • Seconded a break down tutorial on how to do it!

Also any chance you could look at doing this for the archos 43?

  • the sound is pitched up. sorry for my bad english :D

  • BRAVO well done!! Do you think using a female/female usb adapter and plugging in an usb joystick would work as well???

  • @TaulusPaulus65 I haven't tried, but I highly doubt it would work since Linux itself still doesn't have good support for Joystick/gamepads as peripherals. Much less likely that a mobile phone manufacturer would go to the trouble of getting a driver working and making it work in Android which doesn't have any joystick/gamepad support.

  • I hope you can sell one of these one day or teach us how to build one please? Great video!

  • this is amazing....could it be done to my evo??

  • i applaud you for playing mario backwards without directly looking at the screen.

  • any chance of a break down of all the materials you used? and/or an instruction on how to build one of these?

  • @pvtcastrator read description

  • good job

  • This is pretty cool, but you can't play Super Metroid since the L and R buttons are gone :(

  • IS there any chance you would be making/selling more of these?

  • This looks possible on the droid as well. It can support USB OTG, but it uses a standard USB Micro-B port instead of the Micro-AB port, it can act as both host and peripheral, that you would normally get from an OTG device. You can hack together the correct port from an extra cable, but the new port has to be inserted upon boot-up every time you wanted to use host mode.

If any of you smart folks can think of a way to have it work, without rebooting the phone, please post here.

  • That is so cool. I love it. Great job.
