I've lost another blip on my Golden Girls radar. Such a great lady who recieved a rare gift. Strong roles for older women. Miss ya, Maudie, and Vera, and Dorothy. I know I'll see you again in the next life.
Her death and Estelle's have been so difficult because they have been so much part of so many people's lives for so many years. Represent a lot of happy times for all of us. I was just starting to get over Estelle's death and now this :( Lovely tribute.
when I heard bea was gone, i lost it and went into full depression mode for a few hours. Estelle now Bea. This tribute made me cry! She was a wonderful, beautiful, talented woman who has lost her well fulfilled life. I hope she and estelle are up there making laughter to all those who;ve left us because we've had plenty. I'll always miss her. Even though im 14. She was my role model. I;m crying as i type this. Thanks for bein a friend bea. Goodbye my Pussycat. I'll miss you.
I was so saddened to hear of Bea Arthur's passing. She was an amazing comedian, and tremendous actress and a solid humanitarian. I grew up watching Maude, and the Golden Girls are still one of my all time favorites! Her body of work is just outstanding!
Bea was definitely one of the best..As already stated, in a class all by herself.. RIP Golden Girl Bea!!

Beautiful, I cried when I heard. Indeed we lost one more of our golden girls. My two most fave golden girls are now gone.
