I do not understand why fans get so animated about who is better vocalist. This song was written with Blaze's vocal abilities in mind and he delivers a solid performance.

Credit where its due...............Steve Harris is such an awesome song writer that he can tailor material to each vocalists style.

What a fantastic group........been following them since the early 80's. Each lead singer has brought something unique to Maidens sound.

Wow that Maiden concert looked extremely heavy and powerful. That song is like a steroid blast. I always enjoyed the 2 CDs with blaze just as much as Dickinson or Di'anno. Maiden usually writes their songs around the current singer they have. So it totally makes sense.

This is Blaze's signature song. Bruce has The Trooper and Hallowed Be Thy Name and countless other songs. Nobody's saying that Blaze is better than Bruce (except for the people who are actually saying that xp but that's beside the point). Irrespective of who the singer is, it's still a kick-ass song. Blaze sucked ass and everyone except a few peeps agrees with it. He never got to fill in Bruce's shoes because he simply isn't good enough. His voice is monochordic and he sounds like he is inside a fish tank most of the times. This futureal is arguably his best song and Bruce does it better anyway. All is subjective but sales are not and Bruce just wipes the floor with Blaze's albums.

Blaze is an awesome singer. Period. His vocal range is too low for older Iron Maiden songs, like Run to the Hills, which if I'm correct was omitted during his era from tours.

His voice perfectly fits The X Factor's haunting dark sound. Virtual XI was a disappointment though. Not the top notch song writing Maiden is used to.

At the beginning, I didn't liked the songs from the Bayley-era, but now I love to listen to the Virtual XI album. X Factor is in my opinion less better than Virtual XI, but also has some really great songs I listen very often. 'Man on the Edge', 'Lord of the Flies' & 'Sign of the Cross' for example.

I agree with the people that say Bayley fails live on stage on some songs.

Blaze was all right, but Bruce was better. As some other guy said, its a bit hard stepping into the shoes of a singer that was there for 12 years, of course there is going to be some prejudice. But to give Blaze credit, he sang with passion, and tried his hardest, but he just couldn't top Bruce.
