I'm a 50 year old guy, and I loved it. The story is actually pretty deep; you have to really pay attention and think about what you're seeing to follow it. It's not a movie for people who like to have their stories spoon-fed to them. The ending was stark, painful, and beautiful. You can see it on moovis.co.cc now.
In a purely psychological? sense, the whole movie is baby doll's imaginings about the justification (rationalization) of events, and likely while under heavy sedation as we see her get an injection. This movie can be seen at filmsi.co.cc now.
When i first heard about it reviews and general reaction told me that this movie is good.... saw this recently on filmsi.co.cc... And it is true, it is really good...
Isla Fischer should not have spoken American Accent! I mean- it's totally off the book, and like they have gotten something out of Becky's personality- and come to think of it- the actress who plays her, Isla, is an Australian- so she could have belted out that accent- insteas she drops it to pretend to be American- ugh- Why did they change that anyway? It could have been more hilarious!

The movie's ok but the book is waaaay better! The movie basically took the characters and made up its own plotline which to be honest got kind of dull and cliche half way through
OK, I'm confused. I read the book and it's set in London. Now it's in New York City?? :S And that actor DOES NOT match Becky Bloomwood's real character.

Honestly, I think Isla Fisher sucks in this movie (sorry)... I really got annoyed how she carried her character.

I loved the book, but I confess I haven't seen the film.
They shouldn't have moved it out of London, and in my opinion the lead should have gone to Emily Blunt.
