this overtone singin is really amazing, you inspire me.
My fiance just got to know you this last wend at Ananda and told me about "an amazing way of chanting"...
It first reminded me of the harmonics produced with flex pvc electric pipes, you know I was the kinda child who spent hours 'whirlwinding' such pipes in the air, discovering my first harmonics...
Might have the chance to meet you someday on a workshop maybe!
very cool, thanks to john burnap i have seen this very inventive, soothing rendition. Love everything about this video, from the winter background to the clothes you chose that contrast so perfectly to the eloquent way you play, the word awesome is lacking in powerfulness
That really worked as a winter song, I don't know why it did in my brain- I would normally associate those tones I guess with desert or warm places but that was great, very creative! I have a Christmas lights video shot in -5 windchill, you have my sympathy being out there with no coat for the sake of your art! BBW
Thanks to YouTube showing my friend activity, I followed John here! I'm a big fan of overtone singing (throat singing). This was thoroughly wonderful to listen to! Amazing you kept such wonderful tone when it looks so cold!
just fantastic buddy!! i just love it! it is the sound that i aspire to every day! your overtones are smooth and clear above the fundamental, and the rhythm is great! great background for the season too! thanks for sharing Igor!
Pretty good overtones. Keep on singing! :)

Most unusual and thanks for sacrificing yourself in the cold ;), it makes for a special atmosphere.
I thought I heard Tuvan throat singing and looked up overtone singing on wikipedia which must be the same or similar. Very good!
the clip is unfortunately too short :)

It's the most beautiful sound, it's soul stirring for me. Almost like when i hear the bagpipes.
