  • did u know that NaOH will eat Al alive, it releases H and heat even though you are not using the electric power, so it's only a solution for instant electric power.

  • I've been thinking of "A Better Place" and their idea about exchangeable batteries. Instead of large batteries that require heavy equipment to change, how about very small batteries pumped into a "battery tank". Perhaps they could arrange and align themselves magnetically. You could go to a battery station and pump charged batteries in while the spent batteries were pump out and into the service station for a recharge. This way no heavy equipment would be required.

  • Great video. Stanford university made a battery from normal paper plus ink and nano tubes.

  • The sink cleaner was only added later a bit.

    First I used pure NaOH and KMnO4 with tap-water for the main ingredients of the electrolyte.
