I use the brush tool, and draw the hairs, and to make the mane thicker, i duplicate the "mane" layer, than i move those duplicated mane layer over a bit, merge the two layers together, blur the mane a bit, than use the smudge tool to fix up the ends a bit (:
very cool! tutorials would be neat. I turned myself into a centaur/Faun/pegasus in one I did. I would bee very interested in learning new techniques. The hair thing interested me b/c it actully turned out looking real. maybe you coulld do a quick tut on that?
Or if its Photoshop which one?? Looks so much different then the ones I have used (CS4, CS5, Elements 8,9) in the past.
