then i first time played this game and i saw how dante then you jump two times shoots i loved this game. only the problem was that i was playing on pc using emulator and the game was not running fast so i dont get chance to play more. i really think to get ps2 for this game and first one.

Bah... My perspective. And I play DMC2 in THE RIGHT WAY and using guns only when needed. And DMC3 was... boring for me. I don't know why. It was not even hard as people said (it was soooo easy). And there are tons of other things that detracted me from it...

...ye...try playing it in the hardest level...1 hit takes 3/4 of your life, maybe u should change from the noob beginner setting to hardest, DMC2 u can just use guns for everything, wow that is so hard and interesting! pressing 1 button jesus must take a genius to do that!

I menage to finish a scratch DMD in DMC3 with Vergil. Only in that way I found the game hard. And in DMC2, I repeat it again... I USE MELEE ATTACKS AND NOT F***ING GUNS. I play DMC2 like I'm playing DMC3 or 1. As stated, I can't bear DMC3 for tons of reasons which are useless to say here.

ye i got dmc3 when it first came out, its amazing, far better than dmc2. people who think dmc2 is better obviously enjoyed pressing the same button cos the guns killed everything in that game n required near no skills ; /

yeah I noticed, loved bloody palace though, glad they brought it for DMC3. though I did find when you got Lucia's costume as a secretary, & DTd her, the "Bird of Prey" idea looked kinda cool lol That & the building devil was cool

I like how the guns were powered up in DMC2 cause the guns arent not supposed to be weak anyway but i agree that its not much skill to be hittin 1 button tha whole time but not a lot of people even care about skill anymore

it's fun to switch between weapons & get a high combo :D But yeah, agreed, there is ALOT of combos to remember, although most use the same buttons, still it looks way cooler. You own DMC3 or DMC3SE?

I was lucky to play DMC2 before DMC1. Result: found both games excellent and love them (DMC1 still better though. My dissapontment was DMC3...totally stupid and boring.

Too bad Capcom forgotten about adding some depths to Matier. She was weirdly interesting, really.
