  • By the pitch of the engine it sounded like you were not using the falling spikes enough to dig into the tree. Took way too long to notch that tree. I was hoping it would of fell on you because you were in the fall path for most of the video. Not impressed at all.

  • learn how to file thats a joke 2 minutes to notch a 20 inch tree

  • ok... took a while but understandable with a dull chain... but thats not really that big of a tree, im guessing maybe a 40 ft, with a 2.5-3ft trunk....

but the ones i cut down in my woods are easily 60-80 footers, about 3.5-4.5 ft trunk... but you cut a sweet gum ball tree i never have cut one nor do i know their density but i use that same saw to cut black walnut, cherry, red elm, beech, and some iron wood, and old sage orange... the last to are the denscest ive cut

  • Nice butt:)

Also was soll das?

  • how many acres have you got?

  • you are showing people NOTHING you suck that saw sucks your dad sucks and your mother sucks why don't you go pick some flowers with your sister and stop trying to be manly it does not work for you

  • @mrnickleben get life

  • @mrnickleben dude lets see you try and cut a tree down. bet you dnt even know how to use a chainsaw you wanker.

  • He may have worn PPE, but he walked the whole way with the darn thing running! Carry it with the engine stopped, chain to the rear in case you trip in a hole, or over a log. Also, run that baby at full throttle as you meet the wood and try to keep a consistent cut pressure for safety and efficiency. I own a 039 as well. Doesn't bog down that much when used effectively. Nothing to be learned from this video... Cheers

  • yeah cut that bitch down

  • hahaha u have to get a license to use one

  • dude u r suposed to cut a triangle notch in the tree and cut behind the notch ater that???

  • what do you mean legally

  • why cant you legally use a saw?

  • im not 18, or whatever the legal age is, i havnt got a licence to use one properly, i have 2 small saws, oh ye i live in the uk, but i have a part time job at a landscaping company, thats what i meant, i cant use it there

  • i have to wait 6 more years till i can get my saw license

  • haha

  • nice to see the ppe.

  • Had to show me up didn't you? ;) lol nice job I'd be afraid to tackle a tree that big =P

  • Well, I wouldn't be cutting down that big of a tree if it weren't for my dad. He's the one who's enabled me to do all this stuff.

  • nice vid hows tha chain?? seems like it cuttin slow

  • The chain was dull. I got it in the dirt before I made the video (bummer) and didn't have time to sharpen it. It was the tree falling that I really wanted to catch.

  • good video.great saw. old ms390

  • should watch some of mine, very useful information

and why u cutting this tree down?

  • nice video. great saw.

you should do a muffler mod lol. ill have a video of mine up next weekend with muffler mod

  • NICE my dad has a 026

  • I love Stihl but that saw is borring doesn't smoke like our 76 John Deere, how many cc?

  • 39cc. You have a 76 John Deere Chain Saw?

  • ya i got a vid of it it's a 55cc with a 24" blade

  • Nice. I'll take a look at it.

  • If you're referring to the 039 you're using, then it's 64cc's, not 39cc's

  • You're right. Thanks for the correction.
