In my opinion, this was the best series of sino-japanese wars that mainland China has ever made. It emphasized on true history, which was the battles between nationalists KMT and Japanese imperialists. I heard that somehow China doesn't allow to rebroadcast this series anymore, because this series contradicts the self-invented history of Chinese communists.
