remember Intentions is the start, to marry for your own imaan is wrong and as a result you will not get the blessings for it. If you practice yourself for allah swa, everything else will fall in place,

initially Anything done is for the sake of allah and done with sincerity and love. Inshallah everything else will be given to you. if not , The fruits of jannah may be awaiting you ?

I agree with most of what you have said but I don't think it's wrong to marry someone with strong imaan in the hope that they will one's own imaan with strengthen. Afterall ff there's one thing we have been asked to look for in a spouse it is deen. All other qualities are secondary to this. May Allah have mercy on us all and guide us to the path that will lead to Him. InshAllah.

Well, erm, it was like half a page to 3/4! You have to give two reasons why for one view, then 2 for the counter view and then you have to refer to Islam. A Qur'anic or hadith quote is brilliant, but they don't really look for that! I forgot what I wrote, but I think I looked at it from a view that you can do other things to stay together as well. Well, that was a difficult question!

I guess many families are together, and get a long, even though they don't pray together (or pray at all!!!), but they are missing out.
