I love EJ, but there is absolutely no chance he plays meaningful snaps this year unless Ponder is hurt. Ponder is so far ahead of EJ it isn't even funny, are you an FSU fan? Ponder is a heisman candidate for a reason. The only reason EJ won those games he did is because the run game picked up. When ponder was still active the rush game was doing shit so there was always a heavy pass rush and he still had 2,700 passing yards.

There are definitely things to get excited about, but I think it will take half the year for the defense to run Stoops' scheme effectively (not to mention Jeff Luc should be DESTROYING by then). I think a 10 win year would be a great start.

i agree, if the defense gets even half way turned around, watch out... because the offense is going to be unstoppable most of the time. Hell, they were unstoppable this season in better than half the games. If the new defensive staff gets it together, I see a 10 win season coming.
