OMGOSH! I'm going through this stage where my hair is so dry and crunchy on the ends. I keep trimming thinkign it may help and in a span of a month i've probably cut of 2 inches. That's all my progress gone! After I trim the ends absorbs the moisture and same problem. I keep jumping from my shealoe mixture to my olive oil moisturizer and nothing works! Argh so frustrated. And I don't want to hide under braids like I always do.

You honestly, motivate me to keep trying through this hair struggle.

aubrey organics sea buckthorn leave-in conditioner is a great moisturizer. cost about 9 or 10 bucks for 4 oz. though it is well worth it

Thanks for that suggestion apatte! I'll try to find it when I finnish off my Mane n'Tail. No I have't considered an Aphogee treatment. Since my post I decided to go buy some ACV and do a ACV rinse to clarify. My hair is still wet and i'm about to moisturize so i'll see if buildup was the problem.

kinky curly curling custard is the best. u hafta find the right amount 2 use 4 ur hair. it defines n keeps my hair moisturized. another thing i like is that iss all natural. try it along with the knot today leave in conditioner

yeah, i dont think kinky curly pudding is a natural product , so be careful. as far as a lump sided fro you are absolutely correct, it a all about the texture. most of use has experienced one side looking,or curls holding longer or whatever than the other side. if 2strand twisting make that side a lil looser, thats what i do.

For Moisture people should definitely try Lustrasilk Olive Oil Cholesterol, Wild Growth and Wonder 8 Oil together. AMAZING COMBINATION. My hair has NEVER been happier. I use them when I do my braid-outs!!!

quick question now that ur natural do you tend to wear less or more make up??

i use to be very heavy on the eyes and now i do a more natural looks like warm neutrals and coppers.sometimes a smokey eye.

i dnt want my face to compete with my hair or my hair to compete with my face...have you ever had that problem?

I actually wear less. I like to keep my eyes neutral, but I love my blush, liner, and nude lipglass! I tried wearing some intense blue eye shadow and I felt so over done. I like to keep it simple these days
