im a steelers fan, but i have respect for the ravens, and actually find myself rooting for the bengals sometimes, i like the bengals high powered offense and i think cincy will be a wildcard playoff team, theyre capable of winning 8 or 9 games
and Brian Leonard is a beast, some people think hes too slow to play tailback....since when was 4.4 considered slow?....i think we all know why people call him slow, we just dont talk openly about it
I have heard that he ran a 4.49 at the NFL Combine as well as 4.51 and 4.52, great 3-Cone time and a 34.5 inch vert was pretty stellar as well. It's ashame Leonard went to the Rams instead of a team like the Eagles or Jets who needed him more. Leonard started 3 games last yr. for the Rams w/ 4 o-lineman out, Bulger, Issac Bruce and even Holt for a game. He still managed a 100 yard game on 5.3 YPC and 3.9 YPC in that span overall. Not bad for a rookie! Go B-Leap!
@cal31BRIAN23 At the combine you run twice and they take your fastest time, not your average. If you run a 4.49 and a 4.44, they'll usually report the 4.44.
If there is a really big discrepancy between times(4.44 vs. a 4.62, for example) then scouts may be a little more cautious. They could assume error and go with the slower time or perhaps give an average in that case until they can work the prospect out more and get a real time.
THANK U! someone who finally agrees with me. his prescence in the backfield wuld hav been outstanding, or at least better than rueben droughens:(. for once i agree with mel kiper jr. im draftin him cuz hes gonna be a great backup for jackson
Damnnn giants should have taken him.. Lol then the Rams got rid of Leonard after the first year...

Yeah, I'd say that 9-3 and leading the AFC North isn't any better.

Son-of-a bitch, boys and girls...not only do we get a one-hundred-yard performance from Mr. Leonard, we also got the Leonard Leap on the same day.

I could see Leonard having a Marion Barber type impact one day. Probably not with Steven Jackson on the team, though.

No i think they usually average the 40 yard dashes . I think you run more than once and they give you the average.
