Ok,guys,need help..Have the same laptop for 3 years...worked just great but week a go,graphic chip on motherboard died :( is there any chance for fixing this,without removing the motherboard?thanks in advance

I have this laptop for 2 years.I dont like the quality. At 1month, the right speaker was busted, unfortunately theres no service center at our province. Then after 6 months, the flex LCD was broken.

Then after 8 months, im started bringing my laptop for case presentation, then all of the sudden it frooze randomly or when it moves. Until now, its toatally dead. Its a big waste on money.

The quality built is bad especially the flex area upon closing and opening. Dont by this..

Worst fucking computer EVER... after my warranty ended it started falling apart, screen cracked, it fried, batery cable melted, other problems, its BS in games, 30-40 fps in CODWaW using special configs and lowest graphics, my friend bought one at the same price that could run it at max graphics...

I have this laptop for 8 months now, bought with my first paycheck :D

Anyways, like the box says, it's ROCK SOLID. Only crashed 3 times, and after removing all the ASUS bloatware it's 100% now :D 2 months without crashing :)

Nope.. The CPU was never overheated..

But the laptop can get Extremely hot when you have it on your legs or bed..

The HARDWARE is perfect, but the outside case is very BAD.. I have sent this thing about 3-4 times within 6 months to Asus.. Quickly damaged, but the HARDWARE AND ASUS SUPPORT is GREAT.. There is no doubt about that!

@CikaJovaJzma11 cika jovo :), jest da ti odgovaram na komentar nakon 2 godine ali imam isti problem sa pregrijavanjem..mislim imao sam,sad je lap crkao..navodno mu je riknuo graficki cip na maticnoj ploci..isto se u pocetku pregrijavao iz razloga sto mu je cooler bio pun prasine i nije mogao da ga hladi...

When i was looking for this laptop i came up with this Asus X59SL-AP338C is this exactly the same because the one i found had 320Gb hard drive

I'm looking at getting the Asus X59SL-AP337C sold here in New Zealand. It has a 250GB HDD, but it differs from the one in the review. The X2 has 3GB RAM, the AP337C has 2GB. The X2 has a T5750 2GHz (667MHz FSB) while the AP337C has a T5800 2GHz (800MHz FSB).

I'd recommend a Acer Aspire 4930G. I'm using it now. It has a P7350 2.0GHz (1066MHz FSB) and has a 9300M GS. It has 2GB preinstall (I installed another 2 myself) and has a 320GB 5400RPM HDD. It's not the best, but it's cheaper than this ASUS notebook.
