Yes, everyone I saw loved them. On the way out of this performance, I heard this one guy in his 20s ask someone else: "Hey, do you know anything about that last band?" I saw a lot people who came b/c they were curious and were clapping along with two or three songs.
And the Hanson bro is a fantastic singer. What do you need to be sold on him?
Yeah, but any good rock critic or person who truly loves pop music will defend "MMMBop" as a great song, especially considering how young they all were when it was written (8,10, 13). Most people loved it at first, then it got overplayed.
In any case, I'd suggest you just youtube some of their more current stuff if you have any interest. It will knock the MMMBop out of your head :)
Oh, I never said it was a bad song....I'm just saying it's hard to take a pop type person (and how young he was) and see him in this light. An adjustment I should say. We are very musically supportive people, we used to have a venue and welcomed local and not so local bands to come and play and get exposed....

I like this song quite a bit. Play it often on my iPod. But seriously, T Hanson sounds like crap in this song.

Just trying to get over the whole MMMBop sensation....that's all I can think of when I hear the name Hanson....they do sound good here though...
