because France own 60,12% of the capital of esa Ariane, Germany own only 18,72% of this corporation, Italy 9.3%...France is the 1st shareholder, Jean-Yves Le Gall is actually the chairman and the chairman always must be French.

France. is also the1st shareholder of Airbus.

These are the shares of Arianespace, not ESA and not the development shares of Ariane. Director for the Ariane 5 program was german Horst Holsten, btw. However, France was the main contributor in the Ariane program, that's correct.

The shares on Airbus are roughly equal between France and Germany, as is the production and development.

Not everything in Europe is french, you know ;-)
