The bom go's off just before Clark can reach it. He pulls the door out of the car and gets Mason Drake out. He is to late. She discovers Clark is Superman, because some of his suite is showing. Than Mason says a clue for the next episode and dies in Clarks arms. Lois than comes to them Clark puts Mason on the ground and puts his suite straigth.... end episode.

Mason Drake realized he was Superman in this episode. Lois didn't realize  until the one with H.G Welles saving Clark as a baby. H.G. Welles takes them back to before he picked them up so she would forget. She writes herself a note to remember but Clark rips it up before she sees.lol Lois realizes he is Superman in the last episode of the 2nd season as Clark and Superman touch her face in the same way. She tells him this in the 3rd season premiere when he asks how long she has known.
