@metaldemonseanknels haha yeah dude, I prefer Dean ML guitars when I use 6-string guitars and the way I hold guitar when sitting down comes from there.

@j3ps3 It's called classical position. It can really hinder your strumming hand if you don't alternate between the two.

@metaldemonseanknels , I hold the guitar sitting down like that all the time too, it's easier to reach the higher frets and your strumming arm can rest in a more natural position so your arm pretty much never feels tired

The difference between you and good metal bands is that you are lazy and fill the gaps with low open string shit, guitars have alot more to offer, and you are only using 10% of it.

dude there's a lot more going on there than just the things that I play in these vids. Yeah, I'm lazy 'cause I don't care to relearn and play all the lead and clean stuff in these vids :p besides I leave room for the singing. If you fill everything up and don't leave any room for vocals it's gonna end up like shit. If you don't like it's fine. I'm happy with my songs and enjoy listening to them and that's all that matters to me :)

@mephigog yeah dude, the F#-string's gauge is 85 (bass string, of course). It barely worked with the C# but I think that it works perfectly when tuned a half-step down (F that is), though I really don't like the sound of a bass string. It doesn't hold its clarity as good as a guitar string.
