We have the DVD of the "Crossroads" erpisode of this series from CMT: I've never seen any combined bands sound better or have more fun!!! It's just outstanding!

Poor Jon i've seen a few time these two singing together and she is always trying to push over him cause she thinks she is better than sliced bread, Jon just smiles and goes with it! @addictedfisherman i think is a Voice Synthasizer (sound modifier) meant to provide voice wave sounds to the guitar hes playing...i may be slightly off but im sure thats the meat of what that thing does.

@addictedfisherman It's called a 'Voice Box'. Its a synthesiser that sends the soundwaves from the guitar through the tube & into Richie's mouth to which he can manipulate them by moving his mouth. You can do it with an electric toothbrush aswell. Look up the artist Peter Frampton. He is a virtuoso with it & can have a conversation with the audience using one. I saw him live & it was awesome.

@ajdicks. It was not only the best Crossroads to date and the CD w/ Jennifer on it was their best selling to date, not to mention the Grammy they won together. Like stated in many music magazines and others helped rejuvinate their career, and they are very close friends with respect for each other. I'am still calling CMT and their record companys too. Their perspective record companies are trying to work out the details {aka $}. hopefully sooner than later!

this crossroads rejuivnated bon jovi's career. i wish that they would put out the crossroads cd of this concert. jennifer nettles voice is absolutely incredible. if anyone knows where to find it please post it here

wow. I just watched the whole CMT crossroads with bon jovi and jennifer nettles. I didn't know anything about Nettles or sugarland before this. She's a great singer, great tone, strong vocal skills... I'm not the biggest BonJovi fan but decided to watch the show anyways and i'm so glad I did.

I don't think anybody working on CMT's Crossroads had any idea how big of a hit this pairing of bands would be when they were organizing it. I so wish they would either release this on DVD or at the very least replay it on CMT again. I didn't think to record it when it was on the first time as I wasn't sure it was going to be worth recording (at the time the only other Crossroads i'd seen were Wynonna/Heart and Martina/Pat Benatar); something I truly regret ever thinking and not doing.
