intro waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long.....great voice......being able to stretch an intro computer is a waste of good vocals.....and shows a lack of creativity in re-mixing...editing...whatever......just my opinion....waaaaaaaaaaay too long
Sorry for the delay in response.I always thought Frankie should be producing mixing...back then Chicago folks were not the flavor but I had been working with Mitch and I got him to let Frankie take this record. Interesting it still holds up.Peace
Sometimes I think I'm so predictable. Not that I could have been wrong in terms of the quality of this recording, but I remember well saying:
"This will be a rare find in 20 years time, a special find anyway, and well before 20 years, in fact at any time after it was made, not before, because, well, we don't really know abou t that."
I remember when Frankie Knuckles first played this for me a the wherehouse in Chicago in 1987. I danced for hours! Maybe because I was on acid! LOL. Never-the-less, it's a timeless classic!
i have to say it again amazing record if you are making music today please look back to records like this and hear how they used to do things with soul
This song brings tear of happiness to my eyes.
