@2011raerae My bet is because they originally wanted to nome the character Will, but it sucks to use "Will" with microsoft word grammar check. The writer probaly used Bill because it was easier and forgot to change it back beore the script went to print. After the episode was "in the can" they realized the mistake and went back to Will. Now it being Hollywood, they don't feel the need to point out mistakes so the just pretend like his name was always Will ;-) Just a thought!
