  • Amish or not, it's so typical American to use that extra strap to keep a horse's head high. A good trained horse doesn't need that. YOu never see those here and there's lot of horses and carts around here.

  • @Saartje05 Yes I agree, bearing reins are harsh & cruel, I would never dream of using them on my driving horses.
