I'm no metallica expert but i'm guessing this guy wasnt the original vocalist for this song because I've heard the studio version and it sounds way different. this guy doesnt do it nearly as well. he doesnt even sound anything what you would expect someone saying the lyrics to sound like. the other guy sounded pissed, in agony, frustrated, etc. this guy sounds too happy for the lyrics
