so en schönes lied!!! als dit gesungen wurde, war ik noch nich auf die welt... trotzdem, find ik das es hätte den ersten platz sein müssen. es ist mit abstand dit olle bewegende lied, mit so viele geschichte, mit so viel seele drin. außerdem, erinnert mich an die minnesänger, und sie sangen ursprünglich in okzitanisch, eine sprache wie mein liebste katalanisch. per sempre els països baixos i la seva gent tan guais i eixerida!

@agredolss Das Lied wurde ja 1. , teilte sich aber den ersten Platz mit Frankreich, Spanien und den Vereinigten Königreich (1969 gab es 4 Gewinner beim Grand Prix)

Ik vind deze inzending een hoogtepunt in de Eurovisie geschiedenis.

Dit is een lied met een internationaal klinkende melodie, daarom zeer geschikt voor het Eurovisie songfestival,wat door haar overwinning ook is bevestigd. De tekst zal door ieder normaal begaafd en ontwikkeld mens goed begrepen zijn. Velen zullen er blijdschap en troost bij gevonden hebben;haar stem klinkt volwassen en persoonlijk. Goede en wijze keuze voor een Eurovisie songfestival. Een stukje Hollands Glorie uit het ESF verleden waar heel Nederland trots op kan zijn en blijven.

isn't dutch just a mix of different languages like German, English, danish ets.?

@09hahug Not really hahug...Dutch is a Germanic language and is close to German, like Danish is close to German as well. English is more of a Roman language as it has a lot of French/Roman words in it. Though, the Dutch and German often pretent that they dont understand eachother !

Not really either... Dutch is a Germanic language with lots of Anglosaxon and French influences and therefore a unique language.

English AND Dutch are a West-German language though, Roman is Latin and Latin languages are French, Spanish etc.

One Dutch province speaks Frisian (Friesland) and that is VERY close to English and less so German. Funny aint it?

GRONINGEN - Dichter, schrijver en kunstenaar David Hartsema is overleden.

De bekendste tekst van Hartsema is 'De Troubadour'. Lenny Kuhr won er in 1969 het Eurovisiesongfestival mee. De zangeres is aangedaan na het vernemen van het bericht dat hij is overleden. David Hartsema is 84 jaar geworden.
