I was at this show. I grew up listening to Ian Tyson as my parents were always big fans. To hear this song covered by my favorite singer Steve Earle meant so much to me. Thank you for filming so I can always hold onto this moment. :)

The Vancouver crowd cheers to the fact that Steve Earle does a respectful and heartfelt cover of Canadian Ian Tyson's classic. Coming from someone of Earl's stature as a songwriter, that's quite a tribute, just like when Neil Young did Ian Tyson's "Four Strong Winds".
