As for what to do, UltimateRasengan13 makes a good point. The more you dwell on it the more it'll piss you off and the less motivation you'll have to move on. I'd suggest keep working towards 99 Construction. It's important to you, and even if you lost your other big goal, you'll be satisfied having one of them.
If that doesn't work, play another game for a while. I switch between games all the time, especially if things go wrong in one. Keeps things from getting dull.
That there is the reason why I never take nor give anything from/to anyone that I cannot afford to lose, no matter the circumstances. Sometimes real life friends are the dumbest ones, as they abuse the trust you have in them, or think that if something goes wrong, they can smooth things over.

I love how you got all that staking gp without having things like sol in your inv, i went from 500k to 10m in 4 hours of staking (playing on and off) with rapier'n and dds dm's. Then lost it all in 2 hours because when you choose dds dm, you'll encounter them assholes that use sol spec then switch to whip/cr and still have sol effect. So 80% of the time i lose gp from stakes with special attack on. Gf

I told my friend after he got cleaned that he could use my acc to kill abby demons/ solo arma etc.... I log on and he cleaned my cashpile at duel arena.... he lost to a level 65 who was willing to stake 50m+ whatever other winnings he had against a level 117 nearly maxed tank. Don't you love friends?

Like you said before - Choose friends over pixels. I think you should casually play - not grind 100m. I think you should work on making money - but not intensely. Slowly climb back up, maybe get a divine - but maybe more just get a nice house. That is harder to lose. I do want to say also, I do not play RS - but you shouldn't quit because of this.

I feel for you, iv always wanted a divine myself, but when you give away something like that you have to know the risk no matter who it was, jesus could get smited for his bank anything can happen. Like you said it would have been okay at the very most if you urself had lost it but it wasnt you and its your fault you put your greatest investment in the hands of someone else and for that you should learn from you're mistakes.What to do next is up to you, if you really want it you CAN get it back

I think you should go to his house and have him thoroughly search through his bank/kingdom/house chests etc., because this story is very flimsy

He could of actually multi logged into a spare account, give the divine + part of his bank to it, and tell you he got pked. more likely that he stole the divine then him geting downed with it in just 10minutes.
