We did this and we are soooooo happy with our results. The best thing about this product is when your product is done your brick does not look "painted" but real brick. I searched for months to find something that did not give that painted brick look. We had an ugly pink/red brick fireplace and wow now I have a brand new looking brick fireplace. Anyone want to see my before and after pics just let me know. It works. $250 was worth every penny. I did it in a weekend.

On the light brick I wonder if you could use a paint stain as the brick would absorb it
