  • i like this video. could you do more things like this? maybe for abs or legs?

  • What time of day was this and generally what time of the day do you normally work out? I usually go after I drop the kids off at school but then I look like crap the rest of the day and so my "makeup-lovin self" would rather get fixed up in the morning and do my work out at night but I'm more tired at night. I have issues in case you haven't noticed.. ha ha. What's your daily routine?

  • @griff2020 hey there! I recorded this at night.. around 9pm. I do tend to workout at night because I like working out when the gym isn't as crowded. Well.. that's hard to avoid now bc of the new year hah. Anyway.. I am the same way.. I like working out at night also for the reason of not having to do the whole mid-day reshower thing! I know this is bad... but I will drink a red bull before I go to the gym if I'm really dragging.

  • @griff2020 But the way I look at is.. whether you're waking up at 630 to get an early workout in or you're going later at night..well, you're going to be tired either way! So, it's all about motivation.. you know? Working out early am is hard.. but, gives you soo much energy for the rest of the day..as well as shower and makeup time before getting on with the rest of your day. Working out gives you the energy you're looking for when youre tired late-day. Going to the gym is half the battle!

  • Thanks for the tip. I don't usually drink the energy drinks. I tried the five hour energy one and I didn't like the way it made me feel (and I only drank half). I may give one of the others a try. Take Care.

    It's always very hard for me to do upper body exercises. Every time I go to the gym, I decide to focus on my legs because I find it easier. I'll follow these exercises next time. :)

  • sorry, hon. love the idea of this video but for me it would have been more helpful if you'd dragooned someone to film it while you did the work and described while you were working. maybe next time?

  • Good job! I know it had to be hard to do in the gym, but I think you did good. Keep up the good work. I'm currently doing P90X (which is kicking my butt!), but I may incorporate these into my workout for an extra workout.

  • I really like your vids! i recently started watching you and subscribed :)! I have a question, did you research different workouts that you like and use or did you have help of a personal trainer?!? I want to start working out again, but am hesitant as to whether or not get a trainer or do it on my own. I appreciate your feedback! Hope you had a wonderful new year! :D

  • @jasmine8504 hey hey! So glad you subbed and have been watching my vids.. and liking them! yay :) Thanks so much! And....I played soccer in college, and alllll we ever did was train. So, I learned so much about lifting through that. So nope, no trainer.. just me. But, if I hadn't had the experience... I think trainers are a great way to get going. They can get expensive, so a way around that is to only have a few sessions (like 2), where they can develop a program for u to follow...

  • @jasmine8504 ...and show you how to do all of the exercises in those sessions. Then, you can take it from there. I definitely think that workouts and getting in shape can be done on your own as long as you're really motivated about it. you know?
