Chasing laser points is bad for a dog's mental health. How would you feel if you were constantly obsessively chasing something you could NEVER catch? Many dogs end up becoming obsessive compulsive, always on the alert for the little red light they can never catch, it ruins their quality of life. Not worth the risk IMO. There are plenty of other ways to exercise your dog, like you know, going on a walk.

Lasers are fine in short doses, but having it mounted to the head means it's always in the same spot in the dog's vision. If he locks eyes on it for too long it will cause eye damage a lot faster than if you control the laser yourself and it moves in his vision.

If there was a wobbly lens or something moving the laser around slightly he wouldnt be able to focus on it.

Brilliant use of the toy, I just wouldnt overuse it.
