  • I was there, wow

  • andre for life

  • i was there. fucking great memories!!!! thats when wrestling was real.LOL

  • The calvary of do-gooders. Great quote Jesse!

  • Why did they use an NWA ring for WWF shows in Toronto?

  • Studd was massive. What a beast.

  • Those were 3 very big ol' boys.

  • Toronto fans are always pumped up during wrestling matches. First it was this, then The Big Event (August 1986), Wrestlemania VI, and finally the Hogan vs Rock epic match (WM 18). Kudos to Canadians.

  • big jons mighty long john is poking through his pants any one else got the tingles

  • How many inches was the mighty giant after his operation?

  • what was McGraw doing, getting Andre some pills or booze?

After the match, Andre,Bundy, and Studd pounded down a good 3 cases of beer.

  • andre and studd didn't get along oyu are a liar you jackass! they really hated each other!

  • This reminds me of the old WWF Coliseum Videos.

  • I feel sorry for any hookers that had to deal with those three

  • Join The Posse!

  • Well before the back surgery Andre was pretty strong

  • @criceto ... I knew Big John and met him several times. He was only 6'6 1/2" tall. Andre was around 6'9" for this fight. When he started gaining all the weight from his being a huge glutton with the food and booze, he got himself sick. He was strong in his very early days. It did not take him long to get fat and lazy.

  • just 6'6?! I knew almost 6'8..Andre has a insatiable hungry also because the glandolar disease.

  • @RangerRob2009 Studd was 6'5

  • @RangerRob2009 Well it took him over ten years.

  • @criceto mm...Andre was really strong before the back-surgery

    .

  • The friday before this match I met Bundy, Studd, and Tino martinez at the pat&mario's on Dixon rd by the airport in Toronto. It was crazy Bundy was wearing a newsboy hat sitting on a stool by the bar drinking a umbrella drink.

  • Hey Frothydrink. Rick Mcgraw was a total pill head and destined to be a lower mid card guy. Brett hart said as much in his book and that 'Quick Draw' used to pass out in his own food. The poor bastard died of heart failure before the 80's were over.

  • they would show matches from maple leaf gardens saturdays at 7pm.......back then WWF would come once a month, now lucky if they come once a year to toronto

  • Maple Leaf Wrestling FTW.

  • Another example of Monsoon and Ventura's wonderful chemistry together. These guys could describe how grass grows and make it entertaining.

  • Studd was legitimately afraid of Andre. Andre didn't like him (in real life) for some reason. Andre felt other giants threatened him so Andre beat the shit out of him in the ring.

  • I remember when this happened and being heated at Bundy! I was hoping Andre would get his revenge quick!

  • Rick Mcgraw to the rescue. Big fucking deal! This was before he was known for getting his ass beat by piper.

  • This was unfortunately the same year that Rick McGraw would die.

  • i recall seeing this as a youngster and thought how real bad dudes studd and bundy were

  • Wrestling, TV, Music...it's all the same as time goes on, it just get worse and worse...though there's the odd good song on the radio, an alright wrestling match or a good tele show...

  • I have an autographed copy of this by Bundy

  • Looked like Humpty Dumpty in a cave man outfit body splashing a gigantic Ralph Nader.

  • I remember this angle. The best part about it was how Monsoon and Ventura sold it. After just viewing it for the first time in 24 years I was cracking up.

  • THis is when they popped Andres sternum I remember this damn brings back memories

  • "yeah- the calvary of do-gooders had to come out here" jesse ventura rules.

  • this the angle that really made bundy in wwf yell

  • love the silhouette of bundy at 1:09 as he enters the ring.

  • thanks very much from germany

  • I remember this. This is what makes youtube so freakin great!

  • I was there for this match.......pretty sure it was in '85

  • This was when Wrestling was Awesome to Watch , i still watch it to this day , but you can't compare it to the 80's/90's!

  • yes was late 1985, cause then hogan team with andre, vs studd/bundy in dec 85 for saturday nights main event leading to WM2 BUNDY VS HOGAN

  • This was the golden age of wrestling! Andre, Big John Studd and King Kong Bundy. I miss these days!!

  • In Bobby Hennan's book he said that Andre had to be the only giant. Big John Studd (who incidently was one of the nicest guys off of the mat) was trying to draw heat in interviews by saying he was the only giant. Andre used to beat the hell out of him in matches, basically because of those coments.

  • I've been looking for this match since I saw at the Gardens...I'm at the ramp taking pics and giving Big John the finger..Great Days!!!

  • At what time in the vid r u seen?

  • after they attack Andre and they are on their way back to the dressing room. I am wearing a white baseball cap backwards!

  • I remember watching this match. King Kong Bundy must've screwed up because he actually broke Andre's ribs during those splashes (perhaps Bundy miscalculated the size of Andre's chest and didn't provide enough clearance...)

  • Bundy also accidently cracked Hogan's ribs as well (during the SNME when Muraco was holding Hogan in the buckle). Bundy was a bad motherfucker!

  • Some of the more wonderful days of the WWF/WWE. Studd vs. Andre! Classic rival!

  • this was on villias of square circle & amazing managers for more of match

  • even at this stage Ander would of whipped the floor with Ultimate Warrior who took advantage when Andre was older/weaker and in bad shape. All these big guys and they never hurt each other, great times great wrestling!!

  • hey bitch whats your problem, stop being a stupid bitch

  • T=You could only beat Andre if he allowed you to, no doubt about it.
