@GanonAkumaFan akuma's not really a villain though. he doesnt seek world domination, nor does he kill because he feels like it. He's just an excessively aggressive variation of Ryu: fight for glory and to improve one's self. Except Ryu is "learn and live", while Akuma is more "you lose, you die".

@GanonAkumaFan so he basically sold his soul to become stronger. Akuma still does not take a life if there's no need. He doesn't kill randomly, only people he fights (and even then, not always. Gen is an example). Bison? Psychopathic megolomaniac who has no scrupules about killing thousands. Akuma isn't one of the villains. He's just not a nice guy to run into :)

@michelrpg Yeah, let's say so. Akuma has a kind of pride, so this is why he fights only strong valuable opponents... While Bisons destroy anyone that comes in his path.

But I bet it would have been different it we were talking bout Oni instead of Akuma. Oni is a real killing machine, even more chaotic than Bison.

They changed the names cause Capcom was afraid Mike Tyson would sue them when they released the game in North America. The M in the non-Japanese version of the series stands for Master, as in Master Bison.

In Street Fighter 4 when he enters a battle he always says "Now you face the Mighty Bison" But like the video uploader said, I'm sure he has been referred to as Master Bison before.
