Nintendo is a console manufacturer, developer, and publisher. Super Mario Galaxy and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are examples of games that Nintendo both developed and published. Metroid Prime and Donkey Kong Country Returns are examples of game that Nintendo gave the rights to another studio to develop (namely Retro Studios), while Nintendo published it.

I played this game, and I didn't like it because (at least on my wii) the cursor did the worm whenever it wanted, the minigames relied on waggling way too much, the minigames were repetitive and dumb, and one ten-turn match took 30 minitues to play. but that is comming off mario party 7, one of the best multiplayer games on the gamecube, under mario kart and super smash bros melee. BTW, who eve uses the word melee any more.

I got MP8 on the first day it released, and I realize now that when the game didn't make each cource have a "star Gimmick", the series was fantastic. MP8 was a disgrace to own for me because of the waggle and gimmicks.

I love all MP games, but this one I gave back a day after I got it. I was really disapointed at the way to get the bowser stage, because the computers are way too hard in that mode.
