That's because Traben is probably gonna shut down but some of their models will join BCR. Hanser Music owns both BCR and Traben.

It does. Same exact bass but with a different brand's logo and different colors. They should have made it at least a little different, maybe a BCR mini classic headstock or something.

Knowing BCR the way I do, the price will probably be the same ($600). The only difference besides the brand name is the colors. You won't be able to get it in Black Vapor from BCR just black and gun metal for at least a year. I say get the Traben now. If they really are going out of business, you'll have one of the last ones, and/or you'll have a Moyer signature bass in a color it doesn't come in anymore from a brand that doesn't make them anymore.

For the moment probably and a couple of BCR prototypes but pretty soon (usually after being endorsed 6 months to a year) he's more than likely gonna have access to the BCR customshop so you won't be able to get a bass that's built or look like his for too long anyway.

@JerkyChid Oh yeah exactly like Paolo from Trivium. His Production basses look NOTHING like his Customs. Different pickups, Meatier Bridge, Neck-Thru. I think i'm going with the Black Vapor Traben. It's $600 and when they came out they were $1100

oh awesome, i like disturbed though because on most of their songs you can actually hear the bass pretty well compared to a lot of other bands. and yeah john is one of my fav bassists....

i like john as a basisit, hes style rocks, and he rocks. but i don't really prefere the whole band "disturbed", becouse theyre songs are wery fammiliar with each other, and the vocals mostly never change, they are all the same in each song. these are the reasons that i don't listen to disturbed anymore. anyway, don't get mad you fans, i'm not saying they suck. :] cheers

I live in Belgium, Europe, and I really want to buy a Traben. Problem is they don't deal Trabens anymore in Europe, so I can't buy one unless i either order one over the net (in which case i run the risk of getting a damaged model) or go to America to buy one... therezs nothing wrong with pick usage, john must feel mor comfortable with using a pick.

Picks can give a heavyer tone than fingers.

The Bass is a signature John Moyer Havok from traben...... there is a cool new feature on this bass that is that you can run the strings through the body and it just adds a whole nother level to the sound this bass can put out
