  • And Son Got Major Hops !

  • Our School Seen Him Today !

  • look how slow his approach was compared to holm or sotomayor. outstanding bounce!

  • wonder what his vertical leap was

  • @FloridaRaider 31 inches. stefan holm's is 24. high jumper don't necessarily have huge vj's 2 leggged from a stand still, but they have massive bounce with the running jump off of one leg. the two movements don't share all the same requirements.

  • HOLLIS IS SICK

  • @AgentHollis He and Charles Austin are the two best hj'ers the USA ever produced

  • hohohohohohohohohohohohohhohohoho

  • That's why we have fractions of an inch...

    1/32" and 1/64" are more precise than 1mm (.0394")

I'm a mechanical engineer, and there's not an dime's worth of difference between the two systems. Both accurately describe measurements.

  • Except it's much easier on the whole for people to work with a system of measurement of base 10, not 12, the latter of which proves to be awkward for day-to-day use.

  • that was amazing..he barely ran

  • perfect wow!!!

  • 7"10'1/2 lol

Metric system is really simpel :-)

    America should adopt this stuff.

Who needs yards and feets and inches...

inch is not accurate enough to measure persons correct heigth anyway...

  • I agree with you. I am an American from New York City and I think that the USA should use the metric system.

  • fuck ya i hate this 12 inch unworkable number bullshit.

  • It's somehow ironic that the US continues to use a system of measure originally derived from the now largely-obsolete English units.

  • The bell curve of talent goes better with U.S. measurment. For example someone who long jumps 20 feet, triple jumps 40 feet, and high jumps 6 feet is around the same level of talent in each event. In metric those numbers would be very sloppy and overly precise because the gap between mm's is to great to leave out cm's in a description. Women high jump exaclty 1 foot less then men from the high school level to the world records with are roughly 7 and 8 feet.
