Unfortunately, the cuban goverment has banned his music many times from the cuban people just because he says what he thinks.

No counting the many times hat he has been in jail for the same terms.

Cuba is much more than what the goverments have been doing to it, its people, its way of living is something which is hard to understand for not Latin-Americans.

Indeed her daughter does percussion and vocals with him. Pedro is a purist of cuban music. He has reintroduced the use of the original instruments of the time when the music was composed and studied in depth the roots of afro-cuban rythms. Everytime you listen to him you must understand that you are listening cuban music as it truly is according to the tradition. Saw him performing in Madrid in CAFE CENTRAL: just breathtaking!

I do not if the singer is his daughter I,ve been out of Cuba for long time. But he is one of my fauvorites, singer. If not the most. His roots are in the best of Cuban, specially the one of Old Cuban Trova.
