Although the acting in this movie is terrible, this is a work of art in what it represents. I'm sure in time their'll be an incredibly chilling school shooting movie with extremely violent scenes of murder, accompanied by talented acting.

The director just wanted to show different types of kids going about their normal routine, only to be killed by two selfish and ignorant pussies, just like what happened at Columbine, Virginia Tech, ect.
I didn't view the shower scene as a way of implying that Eric and Dylan or the characters of Elephant were gay. The characters both express that they've never kissed anyone before, and without any romance, proceed to have a sort of affected kiss. To me, this scene showed two boys who were so isolated, they never experienced any physical intimacy. This was their last chance to embrace the human touch before their imminent demise, and this was their only way of achieving that. Poignant, no?

Awsome movie !!!! They might be murders but in their journals you can see that they were actually genius against the sistem, they took it way to far, they should have not killed does kids but dam their brains were impresive, Dylans ideas about existance were magnificent.

In the clip (it's really hard to hear) but one says "I've never kissed anyone". The scene is to show the shooters as so anit-social or a rejected to the extent that they never had a kiss. Thus they kiss just before the shooting ( kinda like 'no way I'm dying a virgin thing'.

In the clip (it's really hard to hear) but one says "I've never kissed anyone". The scene is to show the shooters as so anit-social or a rejected to the extent that they never had a kiss. Thus they kiss just before the shooting ( kinda like 'no way I'm dying a virgin thing'.
and to JohnWoo, not sure of the 'nerds' your referring to are, but the real eric and dylan weren't gay. Hope that helps.

Dylan's journals, and the letter he wrote to the GIRL that he loved clearly showed that he was very much so looking for love from a WOMAN.
