  • let's just deport her to Israel and get it over with!!

  • So, because the environmental wackos want to save a two inch fish, the farmers cant grow OUR FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What more has to happen before we kick these idiotic morons out of office!!!

There is absolutely NO WAY we can support our country without FOOD!

California, you are without a doubt, the most inept government on the face of the earth! You have destroyed the most fertile lands in our country to save a damn fish!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the few things that we should expect our State Governments to do is look to the future and make plans to supply the needs of the State. Things like `WATER'. However the nut cases that run California have done nothing. Their system was designed for 18 million and now they have double that. No one looked ahead and made preperations.

The Feds should be using the Stimulus money to put in pipelines to move water around the nation. When we have a flood Lakes should be pumped to other areas.

  • i think its a pretty good idea for us to take care of our water...no?

unless we want to pay ridiculous sums for bottled water from private companies...

meanwhile coke, pepsi and others are buying up fresh water resources throughout the world in prep...

the next wars will be fought over water...

no privitization of water...water is a basic human right...

  • Hey let's go eat every single one of those little fish !!! I am SOOOOO hungry !!!

  • Horse's Ass.

  • Democrats must just hate America. CHANGE means to destroy? Texas Drought.. where was Obama and DEMS? AWOL.. Calir drought... AWOL.. Dems have TWO Katrina disasters about 8 billion in damage crops and ranch. And they NEVER SHOWED UP to help but they sent oil money to Brazil and crop money to Africa.

  • All that needs to be done is to figure a cheap way of taking the salt out of the sea water then No more water problem. Power the water pumps with solar and wind(keep it cheap). Here is a hint, first step, pump that sea water to the top of a big mountain then allow the water to run down over many rocks(about 97.3 miles of rocks) and catch the water at the bottom, then..

  • Cost is definately the factor. Google: Researchers develope low cost, low energy desalination process

It was developed by New Mexico State University. Article is from 2007 so ppl are looking into moe efficient ways of doing it.

There are only 2 ways I see in the future of providing water for all. The oceans and weather control. Getting our water from the oceans makes more sense because, to me, trying to "Control" the weather is an accident waiting to happen.

  • I think a better Idea is to move water around the country. Because there is a profit in gasoline we can move it by pipeline from the Ship Channel in Houston all the way to New Jersey. so why don't we move water the same way.

When the forcast calls for heavy rain in a area we begin pumping lakes and resorvois down to other areas. This would make better use of the Simiulus money than giving it to acorn.

State and Fed are supposed to be looking ahead not spending to get re-elected.

  • People complain but she was voted into office twice now. If people were more active in Califorinia and elsewhere they could remove anyone, whether Dem or Repub, they don't like from office by simply voting for someone else. Will a "New" face be any better? Who knows. But I'd personally like to see some new faces (both sides of aisle) with hopefully better ideas. Otherwise you'll probably be stuck with her and them for another 6 six years. Vote in 2010. Your vote is your voice, be heard.

  • Dude... They cheat.

  • As the Cal Supreme Court has said over and over, the scope and technical complexity of issues concerning water resource management are unequaled by virtually any other type of activity presented to the courts. 26 Cal.3d 183, 194 (1980). In other words, butt out, this is a California issue we need to deal with ourselves.

  • Is it?... when you feed the rest of America?

  • Cali does it's part but it isn't the sole provider of food by any means.

  • I don't see how that means anything to the bigger question.

Is California's water issue it's own issue or does the rest of the country have a say in the matter?

  • Do any of you think it's that hard to remove the salt from sea water?CMON! They know who ever controls the water controls the people. They are playing games with your freedoms.

  • Acually, up until recently it was very difficult and expensive to remove the salt on a scale large enough to cater to a community.

Not only can we do that know, a scientist has discovered that if you subject salt water to radiowaves. This water will burn as a clean fuel.

  • I think those in power want the U.S.citizen to have to get food from other countries, why? it gives them more control over where citizens can live in the USA. think of it as forced moving.

  • It really is more complicated than DeMint thinks. Sources are linked at. onthepublicrecord[.]wordpress[.]com/2009/09/22/putting-things-in-proportion

  • The salmon industry that needs those Biological Opinions to recover is worth about $1.4B.

500,000 acres is 5% of the irrigated acreage of the state

the state's almond acreage is 710,000 acres

the state's alfalfa acreage is 900,000 acres

The majority of the idled acres are in Westlands Water District and on the west side of the San Joaquin Valley. If those acres are returned to production, gathering and treating their selenium-poisoned farm run-off is predicted to cost $2.6B.

  • She is not only unembarrassed when a Senator from another state tries so save HER people, but thwarts that effort because of some nuisance lawsuits! California, this woman is toxic to all America...why don't you get it?

  • WE KNOW!!!!!

The San Joaquin valley is nothing like these whack jobs in San Fransiko, and Los Angeles. Believe me, we in the valley get it!

  • The government is our enemy. How else can you put it?

  • This women has no clue and is so disconnected to the California people. This women is a Human American failure, and should be put up for treason!

  • This woman is a bozo she is an embarassment to our country

  • This woman is moron

  • I hope that bitch get ass cancer. Hopefully she'll join her other human failure Teddy in hell!

  • She is off her rocker. Oh how the politicians have ruined my birth state...

  • Is Feinstein Thelma or Louise? She and Boxer said they were Cagney and Lacey when they got voted in back in '92.

  • Speak for yourself when you speaking for California. I am a native Californian who believes that Northern California, and Los Angeles politics have been destroying our state for decades. Feinstien is far from moderate, she may be a moderate Marxist but not politically moderate.

laissez faire. dont tread on me!

  • Well, if she doesn't "quite understand what's going on here," then she should have educated herself prior to making such a ridiculous statement. This stupid beetch, who's never as much broken a fingernail working hard, ought to keep her damned mouth shut, because as she said herself: She doesn't quite understand what's going on here.

  • They should cut of Feinstein's water.

  • The people of California are so dumb for electing her. They should be ashamed of the way their state is now and the sorry state it is by electing the same cronies for years.

  • please don't group us all, majority of the people who elected her are in the bay area where idiocy is running rampant!

  • I know California is a big state! Usually LA, the Bay area, and San Diego determine the state in state wide elections while the eastern half has no say.

  • "Has everyone in California lost their freaking minds"

No only the Insane Leftist who make up the environmental-nitwits. It is time to recognize that these Leftist and their ideology are mentally ill. They all need medical help not to be elected to positions of power.

Somebody needs to ask this loon just how many 3 inch long bait fish elected her to Congress? Insane nuts.

  • What the hell is she talking about? How did we ever let these types of lost, clueless, and corrupt people represent us?

Just let farmers have water so they can grow crops and feed their families.

Has everyone in California lost their freaking minds????

  • Roadkill in the '12 elections, Good riddance.

  • The only reason this broad gets reelected is because you have 3 huge liberal areas which silence the vote. The Sacramento Area (I live there), the Bay Area, and the majority of the LA area all silence the rest of the people. This one reason why senatorial seats should not be plurality vote.

But if it was anything else, CA would gerrymander it to where her and Boxer would still get elected.

  • The mayor of this town should give the feds the middle finger, and turn the water on anyway.

Anyone who puts a small fish ahead of suffering human beings shouldn't be allowed to live, much less, be involved in governmental affairs.

It's time to start making these enviro-fascists pay for the damage they have done to this nation, and human progress, in general.

  • If the People of California had any sense what so ever they would have this bitches head on a fucking pike !

  • Actually Californian's really like Senator Feinstein. She is a moderate, whereas Senator Boxer is a far-left crazy.

  • That's what is sad if they think she is a moderate and it's what represents California! That whole state is sad.

  • I think it is sad too. I am not a supporter of Senator Feinstein, however she has a voting record that puts her to the right of her party and she consistently ranks as one of the most conservative Democrats. The state is unfortunately too heavily influenced by the Democratic Party right now. It is geographically a deeply red state, with most of SoCal being heavily Republican and most of the interior of the state being also very Republican, but the areas like LA Cnty and Bay Area are very liberal

  • I am a Central California farmer, who understands the complexity of the issue... She, along with others are trying to put us out of business. A BIG thank you to Senator DeMint for trying to get something done. If people from out of our area, or even state "get it", why can't Diane Feinstein "get it". I only hope that she doesn't get re-elected....

  • If those farmers don't get water, she will be out of a job next term. Its as simple as that.

  • If only! The people of Cali never agree with our bimbo senators, but always re-elect them.

  • She looks quite a lot like prof. Umbridge form Harry Potter.

  • This petty tyrant needs to be removed from office. Why are the vast majority of our representatives such vile scum?

  • Water for crops is a "complicated and difficult issue" no one's explained to her so she's voting against it. Libs are such geniuses. This is why they are called out for being inexperienced twits when elected w/no business accumen whatsoever or experience running a damn thing. But yet they constantly call Sarah Palin an idiot? Moron who needs to be voted out NOW!

  • Feinstein wants to destroy your second ammendment right, therefore she is a traitor to the republic.

    see:

    watch?v=U3zOUoQpeVk

  • Water is a huge and complicated issue. Yeah, it runs downhill and if you turn it off it stops....

  • Sodium fluoride addition to the water supply continues lowering the IQ of the american people.
