@MrJakc21 probably because she is still stuck on the fact that she won. Her reaction period is one of complete shock and she is so happy that she can hardly sing the song. I don't think it was her trying to wait for the effects, just the fact that she was like omg I won. I can't believe this.

After that, I picked up all of her cd's. And did a bit of research on her. That's how I found out. I don't even like american idol to be honest. I do however, like her.
