  • is it possible to have an tutorial from this video? because i dont get it work

  • hi men, i am a beginer in 3dsmax now, but i know how to use combustion 3 and the basic knowledge of boujou 4, my question is: how can i adapt my 3d object in to a real video?, i have tried but, i didnt maked, what do i have to do after i tracked the video with boujou?, do i have to export the camera track to 3dmax and later render the 3d object and then expoted the object rendered to combustion?

please tell me if i am wrong i fso.. tell me how can i do it XD

  • I have no idea. Some day i will get around to learning boujou, and i can figure out that stuff.

That hammerbchen tutorial doesnt help that much, i cant understand anything he says

  • how i can export a 3ds video as avi , or something what can aae read?

  • Go to render then go into the folder your saving it into, and choose avi or quicktime as the file type.

  • I am rendering as I type but I was wondering what RPF attributes I need ticked in the export dialogue box. I just ticked them all but I imagine that will increase my render time or increase my file to be even heavier! I basically just want the 3ds camera movement in AE. Is this the best way...in your oppinion. Thanks. By the way yours turned out well, the text is anchored so well to the material test object..no jumping!

  • dude that looks awesome... i never get it to work like that. i should look for tutorials or something, but can you explain how did you set the camera in AE to get all the 3D layers move properly?

    thanks.

  • You just save the 3ds max video as RPF. Then open it up in after effects and drag the clip onto the timeline.

Then right click it and go to keyfram assistant and then click watever is there. Its camera something.

Then it will make the camera and you just place whatever new layers ontop of it or behind and position them as you like.

Its kind of hard to get everything in the right spot.
