You're obviously a good sailor to get out through the whitewater but why would you go in backwards and spend 5 minutes getting trashed in the shorebreak!?
Yes, that was a clear strategic error. The wind was light on the inside too! I kept it in the video to show the thrashing sometimes involved with this sport
