@PoesKlap133 LoL he means that if you take off the cap the AF will work fully cuz it has something to focus on... if you put the cap on the AF will just go crazy.

i've heard some mixed reviews about this lens most of them negative but atleast i can say it's near silent

sigma lenses have horrid corner to corner sharpness.

the only good thing about this lens is its CA performance which is pretty good.

and the AF is quiet and fast, but not accurate.

old 17-70 2.8-4.5 macro..

currently i own the sigma 30mm f1.4 and sigmas new 17-70 os hsm f2.8-4

all this lenses had piss poor corner to corner until stopped down to f8..

Thanks for the answer. I have Sigmas 10-20 f3.5. So far i haven't noticed anything bad with it. I am no professional. I wanted a wide angle lens and this one had got good reviews.
