is your floor really that weak or do you have a really good cameraman? =p Great contra worth there also. Still have yet to play one of those bad boys.
I've been playing bassoon for 6 years now, and I was wondering if it's easy to make the transition from bassoon to contrabasson, or if it's weird because some of the fingerings aren't the same.
Dude! at 00:17-00:19, you were almost below the piano! That's kickass! And great sound too. I totally want one, except that i want to own and be able able to play every instrument ever, but still, cool stuff!
Finally, some one playing jazz at contrabassoon! Nice playing and sonority! There are some instruments which never receive attention enough to their quality and details. People must know better them. Congratulations for showing this amazing instrument to us!
your contra sounds so good i want to play the contra so bad i no its basically the same fingering but the flickings well...and there is no wisper key! so how much did it cost??? more then the regular bassoon ino!
@lightninguitarsolo It's still cool :D and I'm sure there's a specific reason, like tone quality, or pitch, or mellow-ness or something... like how you put your left arm in the french horn
Damn, contrabassoon looks like the only woodwind contrabass instrument that doesn't need a steroid induced elephant to carry it; loving that solo and (instrument), good work. Low pitches will always be the best kind.
