  • This is a great song, the video's not so good but the song is the soul of this. We need more songs like this

  • I agree this song sound s flat until Ian Astbury powers in, and the whole song changes dynamics. He gives it pure soul, rock n roll...the guy is unique!!!

  • So the guy from (the 80s Beastie Boys wannabes) Big Mouth is still trying to be a rapper, eh? Interesting.

  • Ian (a wonderful singer. Owns a beautiful voice) great talent that enchants the soul...

  • Sounds like a bad amateur job until Ian's voice kicks in. Which one of these doesn't belong, children??

  • thats all?

  • Astbury ROCKS and this is where the song kicks ass!!!

  • Great- another rip-off of Skynyrd's classic- that's EXACTLY what the world desperately needed. Theeeanks.

  • @loopstheloop have you ever said anything remotely original? I wonder which DOGSHIT POLYTECHNIC you didn't graduate from

  • Ian, fudido como sempre!!!!!

  • HE'S NOT IAN ...

  • @dxista Ian comes in at the end unfortunately not soon enough, driving the car, he sounds great, should have come in sooner, the song would have sounded better.

  • Wellll hell yeah!!! Awesome!! It just doesn't get much better than Astbury!!

  • I downloaded this song years ago and just recently found it again amongst sum old backup cd's! No clue ther was a video and it just came up on the suggested list? Awesome!

  • ian astburys son che astbury goes to my school! Pretty SWEET!

  • how COOL is that , I bet he is a nice rounded, smart, child ♥ only to get smarter!!

  • Damn, Ian and that Voice really Hot

noone can say BABY like him. Awesome

  • This was way before 2002.

  • yeah I wrote in the infos

    Zen Mafia " California"

    October 12, 1999 RCA

  • @codge2112 I remember this on MTV2 during the summer of 1999... I remember the Cult singer cruising that badass Mustang fastback...LOL!!! Cool, just took a trip back in time, thanks!

  • severe deafness is the answer to your comment

  • what the hell were ya'll watching? that was the worst thing I have ever seen. And I don't know who Ian is or rather who he isn't but he added nothing to the video. But that isn't all his fault...the video and song were so bad that pearl jam could have pulled up in the car and the video would still be unbearable

  • I agree that the song leaves much to be desired BUT for the cameo of Ian Astbury, singer of The Cult, and several other lesser know bands. Ian has a very devoted "cult" following. Check him out in The Cult, or google him to see his other bodies of work

  • so great Ian !!

  • I was watching and so thought that I'd been 'Astbury'd'.... waiting.... and then.... yup! There he was, and it was good!

  • this came out in like 2002, it is impossible to find on mp3 or cd

  • The song is soooooo average...... and then credibility drives in...... Ian Astbury is more then THE MAN, he is a SAVIOR.

  • Ian comes in with that car, that voice and that look and all of the sudden the song has power! Does anyone know when this was filmed/recorded?

  • download the fanzine Sacred Soul, The Cult Fan Club, issue 6. It's FREE. There's an interview with the director of the video, Mark Racco. He also directed "Painted On My Heart" video. Check the interview!

I can't post urls here. just google for it :)

  • Thank you much sacredsoulmagazine. I love your devotion to Ian and the boys. I check out your site every time I really need a great lift

  • yesss go ian

  • Ian sounds perfect on it. Looks damn good too :) <3
