I agree this song sound s flat until Ian Astbury powers in, and the whole song changes dynamics. He gives it pure soul, rock n roll...the guy is unique!!!
@dxista Ian comes in at the end unfortunately not soon enough, driving the car, he sounds great, should have come in sooner, the song would have sounded better.
I downloaded this song years ago and just recently found it again amongst sum old backup cd's! No clue ther was a video and it just came up on the suggested list? Awesome!
@codge2112 I remember this on MTV2 during the summer of 1999... I remember the Cult singer cruising that badass Mustang fastback...LOL!!! Cool, just took a trip back in time, thanks!
what the hell were ya'll watching? that was the worst thing I have ever seen. And I don't know who Ian is or rather who he isn't but he added nothing to the video. But that isn't all his fault...the video and song were so bad that pearl jam could have pulled up in the car and the video would still be unbearable
I agree that the song leaves much to be desired BUT for the cameo of Ian Astbury, singer of The Cult, and several other lesser know bands. Ian has a very devoted "cult" following. Check him out in The Cult, or google him to see his other bodies of work
download the fanzine Sacred Soul, The Cult Fan Club, issue 6. It's FREE. There's an interview with the director of the video, Mark Racco. He also directed "Painted On My Heart" video. Check the interview!
This is a great song, the video's not so good but the song is the soul of this. We need more songs like this

So the guy from (the 80s Beastie Boys wannabes) Big Mouth is still trying to be a rapper, eh? Interesting.
