When my mother, stepfather and I first moved to Ocala, Florida, my mother and I found a church that we really liked after some searching (my stepfather does not go) and it is a HUGE church ( about 4000) and we have been going ever since. Baptist church. I have been baptist all my life.
That was nice they pm'd you. We meet once week in small groups too. It's great way to really know and care keep track of those of like faith. They then change them every so often. We have larger group meetings too but the small ones are my favorites too and we participate in them.
Our church is pretty large (we have 5 services on Sunday) -- roughly 5000 + but we have a ton of small groups too because it can get too big and lost in the shuffle. I'm with you too, I think it was a God thing! We didn't want to go to our church because it was so large but we found that we really enjoy it now that we are apart of it.
Hey Doug. Now that's a good idea for views. LOL Good luck in the search for a new church. It sounds like you're making good progress. I would be impressed with a church that followed up on YouTube. Successful pastors and churches reach out like that. No, they will not understand the sign out Doug. LOL -Jim

Since you removed your comment, I was not able to reply to it, . however, you have to know that at least 98.9% of the time when I am talking to Doug, I am talking to him as a goofy friend & while I KNOW he is taking find a new church extremely seriously, I have to rib him now & then. I had to re-watch my Episode 1 video several times to make sure I didn't say anything out of line! HA. Thank you, Kristi for your encouragement. I'm sure they had hits from the link you put up in your description box and if they have someone worthy running their website, they found out that the hits were due to that video and tracked you down that way. I hope you didn't say they were the sucky ones that didn't say hi to you ;)

lol...don't let it scur you. Our church and most churches we know of do the guest card thing. I filled one out at the last church...the one from this past Sunday (it's optional of course) and they called and wanted to know if we had any questions or if there was anything they could do to help us in our search for a new church -weather it was their church or another. So don't be scurrrrred. ROFL
LOL...ok, that settles it. Every church we visit from here on out...we will fill out a guest card and request a fruit basket or something of equal or greater value in exchange for our opinion. Thank you for the suggestion and if we receive really good stuff from these churches, I'll ship some of it to you all the way over in your country.
HAHAHAHAHAHA You can't send fruits to my country. But you make sure that when you do choose the correct church that they are the ones with the more exotic fruits like strawberries and bananas.
